Built for Ranch Horses.
Built for the Community.
SINCE 2016, SOUTHEAST RANCH HORSE SERIES HAS PROVIDED QUALITY RANCH HORSE COMPETITION IN EAST TENNESSEE — STRUCTURED FOR FAIRNESS, CONSISTENCY, AND GROWTH AT EVERY LEVEL.

Where It Started
Southeast Ranch Horse Series was founded in 2016 by Michelle Turner with a simple goal — to bring ranch horse competition to East Tennessee in a way that felt welcoming, educational, and accessible.
After spending 20 years in the barrel pen, Michelle found herself drawn to a blue-eyed colt bred not for speed, but for ranch work and cow sense. Learning the discipline from the ground up offered a new respect for versatility, feel, and the wide range of classes ranch horses excel in.
Being new to the sport at the time, she saw firsthand how important it was to create an environment where beginners felt supported while experienced competitors still felt challenged.
SERHS was built to do both.
From One Day to a Full Weekend
What started as a one-day show with five divisions, 25 classes, and a two-hour clinic has grown into a premier three-day event offering:
10 Divisions
90+ Classes
1,000+ Entries Per Show
The growth has been steady — and community-driven.
The mission hasn’t changed. Only the scale.

Built on Education & Fair Competition
From the beginning, clinics with respected judges and trainers have been a cornerstone of SERHS. Education remains central to the series — helping exhibitors better understand the sport, prepare their horses, and compete with confidence.
SERHS offers one of the broadest division lineups in the Southeast, including structured pathways for green horses, rookie riders, youth competitors, and seasoned programs.
